From the 4th to the 13h of July, the University of Luxembourg will host the 24th European Regional Science Association (ERSA) PhD Summer School, with the Support of the European Investment Bank

The topic forthis year is "Modelling Cities and Urban Dynamics". The Summer School is a joint organisation of IPSE/Geography (FLSHASE) and the Center for Research in Economic Analysis (FDEF), on behalf of ERSA (see www.ersa.org/summer-school) .

The Summer School consists of a series of PhD discussion seminars and a set of advanced lectures by some of the most prominent researchers in Urban Economics, Economic Geography and Regional Science worldwide, including  Jan Brueckner (Irvine, California), Pierre Frankhauser (Besançon, France) Jean-Claude Thill (Charlotte, North Carolina) and Jacques Thisse (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium and Luxembourg).31 young researchers from the best teams in Europe and beyond were selected.
